Second round of peace talks in Jerusalem

Haaretz reported that the second round of talks between Israeli and Palestinian negotiating teams ended late Wednesday night, after five hours of discussion. A senior Israeli official said that the meeting was long and serious, and that the two sides scheduled a time for another meeting in the coming days.

Oldest inscription found in Jerusalem, dates back to the time of King David

3,000-year-old text from King David’s time, in an unknown language on the top of a jug, is earliest alphabetical writing ever found in holy city. Jar fragment bearing an inscription in a Canaanite language was unearthed near Jerusalem’s Temple Mount by Hebrew University archaeologist Eilat Mazar.
