Israel Celebrates 64 Years of Independence

On Wednesday evening April 25th, Remembrance Day ended and celebrations began as Israel celebrated 64 years of independence. But even as celebrations occurred throughout the nation, marking the 64th anniversary of rebirth of Israel, residents in Eilat and Hof Ashkelon Regional Council heard the sounds of air raid sirens causing them to run for shelters. While we are grateful that there were no reports of injury, we are once again reminded of the danger that so many Israelis face and thus we continue to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.
