Bloodbath In Syria: Urgent call to pray for the Syrian people and persecuted church

While many of us have been watching the news of the conditions within Syria, we are now receiving reports that there is increased persecution of Christians in Syria and as such we are asking for specific and concerted prayers to be lifted up on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Syria.

It’s horrifying to see the continued slaughter of innocents in Syria. Please pray for the violence to end and peace to come to that country. Pray that the Gospel would be spread throughout Syria, and for the Lord to strengthen and encourage the persecuted Church there. Lord, please stop the bloodbath, bring justice to the evildoers, and liberate the Syrian people spiritually and politically.

“The news about Him [Jesus Christ] spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He healed them.” (Matthew 4:24)
