You. Encouraging Pastors and Ministry Leaders in Iraq

While life continues to be difficult for believers living in Iraq, some of our ministry partners are leading small groups on how to study the Bible inductively. They then encourage the use of the newly acquired skills to lead small group Bible studies. One partner shared, “As the war was raging in Mosul, it dawned on me that some of these pastors and leaders would be going back home, bringing these new tools into their regions of the country.  That thought was very exciting to me.”

Please be praying for those participating in Bible studies in Iraq, that the Lord would speak in powerful ways through the study of His Word and that many would be drawn closer to the Him. Also, be praying for the war-torn nation of Iraq, for peace in the region, for protection for its people and for many opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
