Jordan’s King Abdullah II Inaugurates Parliament

The Associated Press and The Times of Israel reported that King Abdullah II inaugurated Jordan's newly elected parliament on Sunday. The king pledged to move forward with democratization and reforms, however also mentioned that he plans to help select the next prime minister.

The recent elections were not without opposition. It was noted that the polls held on January 23rd were boycotted by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Please pray for wisdom for Jordan’s leaders and new elected parliament members.
