Pray with us . . . For the people of Jordan in the discovery of a pending terrorist attack

Please join The Joshua Fund in asking the Lord to bring His true peace to the kingdom of Jordan. A news report on March 3 declared that Jordanian forces have destroyed a terrorist sleeper cell planning major attacks to destabilize the nation. We seek God’s protection over King Abdullah II and people of Jordan.

Please also:

  • Ask the Lord to grant security and stability to this moderate Arab nation and protect them from terrorist threats.
  • Pray that the Lord would show His grace and mercy to every citizen of Jordan and the many refugees who have fled there from the Syrian and Iraqi wars, seeking a safe haven during this time of great darkness in the region.
  • Pray for the Christians in Jordan, as they seek to be a blessing to their nation in every possible way, including as faithful witnesses of the hope and forgiveness and good news found in Christ Jesus.

Thank you for prayerfully standing with people in the Epicenter in this critical moment.

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."  I Timothy 2:1-4

As I write this, it has been 32 hours since all the cell phones in Israel woke us up at 3 am with a very unusual message: We are in a State of Extreme National Emergency. Stay near a place of shelter. All gatherings, educational and work activities are cancelled until further notice. We were told to check that our bomb shelters were prepared and stocked with food and water.
