Pray with us . . . for the family of IDF Master Sargent Shlomi Cohen

Pray with us . . . that violence will not erupt in retaliation of the killing of IDF Master Sargent Shlomi Cohen in the line of duty Sunday night.

Please join The Joshua Fund in praying for peace and calm in the wake of the attack on IDF soldier Master Sargent Cohen which has inflamed tensions surrounding the cross border attack. We ask the Lord to sooth and comfort those suffering grief from the heart-breaking loss of this young man. He is survived by his wife and 11 month old daughter, as well as his parents.  We ask the Lord to give comfort to the brokenhearted and we pray for the entire family as they grieve their great loss.

To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3
