Pray for the Church in the Middle East

Please pray for the regions of the Mideast and North Africa, where the unrest in Egypt threatens to spread to other countries like Jordan, Syria, Yemen, and Saudi Arabia. While reform can be good, the greatest risk in these nations is that radical elements like al Qaeda or the Muslim Brotherhood would come to power. Such a development would present serious concerns for the nation of Israel, and for the Church, which would face even more persecution. Please pray that God would have mercy on the people of these nations, and that He would strengthen His people according to Jesus in John 16:15, "My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one."
